Daniel Parker established Slate Hall Veterinary Practice in December 1996. This specialist poultry practice is now a partnership with expanded laboratory facilities, and provides diagnostic and consultancy services to a wide range of poultry clients.
The client mix includes a primary breeding company, broilers, breeders, ducks, layers turkeys, and gamebird rearing operations. Clients range from both small independent poultry farms to large integrated broiler companies. The Practice also has extensive experience with a primary international broiler breeder company, and has developed a number of overseas consultancies to integrated broiler companies.
Daniel Parker qualified from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 1983 and has been involved with the poultry industry since 1992. Daniel holds the Certificate in Poultry Medicine and Production (CertPMP) from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, and is a past President of The British Veterinary Poultry Association (BVPA). Daniel was appointed veterinary advisor to the British Poultry Council in 2007.
