Chairman & Managing Director, P D Hook Group
James is the Chairman and Managing Director of PD Hook Group of Companies with a long and established career in British Farming.
Educated at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester in Rural Estate Management he spent several years as a Chartered Surveyor and Auctioneer.
Currently responsible as Chairman of P D Hook Group for an agricultural business producing around 5 million chicks and 2.5 million chickens a week, using a farming base of 200 farms, 5 hatcheries and approaching 700 staff.
James is an active Board Member of the NFU and a Member of the Poultry Board, British Poultry Council and British Chicken Marketing, as well as being a representative of many local business groups and organisations. He is passionate to ensure the future well being of the British poultry industry.
